A teatime concert of spellbinding arias from his most famous operas in the company of Mozart and a quartet of seasoned singers. Sandrine Piau, who has performed baroque repertoire for many years, is also an accomplished Mozart singer. Her supple voice is perfectly suited to this repertoire, which she sees as “a sort of balance between the baroque and the later repertoire”. Another baroque performer is the Canadian soprano Karina Gauvin, who has also been tackling more and more Mozart in recent years, in particular through these aria concerts which are like opera in miniature. On the male side, Cyrille Dubois who sung Ferrando in Così fan tutte directed by Laurent Pelly and Jérôme Boutillier. Julien Chauvin and his Concert de la Loge ensemble will accompany this exceptional quartet.
