Since her first concert at the age of seven – in the Stalin era – she has travelled the world playing repertoire quite unrivalled in its breadth. Her unusually natural, interiorised and authentic relationship with music make her one of the greatest musicians of the last fifty years. She has chosen to perform The Seasons by Tchaikovsky, whose complete works for piano she has recorded, and Mussorgsky, with Pictures at an exhibition.
