    Expert Alain Lompech remarked of Adam Laloum’s last concert at the Théâtre: “It will take the audience a while to surface from the dream state induced by this 35-year-old man who is totally committed to a heart-rending score which gives us a glimpse the despair of Schubert’s life without reciprocated love”. This time the pianist is exploring the earliest sonatas of his beloved Schubert (1817), which are still permeated with classicism. The remainder of the programme is more romantic and will present two of the performer’s other favourite composers with Opus 5 by Brahms in counterpoint to Schumann’s strange and ghostly Kreisleriana.
