We are familiar with Justin Taylor the harpsichordist who won first prize at the Musica Antica Competition in Bruges ten years ago. He then made a daring venture into the music of Ligeti on his album entitled Continuum.
Télérama magazine later noted his “triumphant virtuosity, his gentle poetry, and his utterly miraculous touch” on his album La Famille Rameau. In 2023, Bach et l’Italie earned him the highest accolades in France (Diapason d’or de l’année and the Choc de l’année prize from Classica magazine). He is the co-founder of an ensemble (Le Consort ), and his piano has accompanied François Lazarevitch at the Prussian court. This year we will discover how Roger Muraro’s disciple interprets Chopin’s work for keyboards.
