    FILIATION AND EXPLORATION
    Mozart Piano Concerto No. 12 K. 414
Aurélien Dumont Ecoumène, piano concerto (creation in Paris)
Beethoven Symphony No. 4 op. 60 (Clémence de Forceville, conducting)

How are works born? Most often from a dual desire: that of a composer... but also that of a patron. When he arrived in Vienna, Mozart survived thanks to his success as a concert performer, but he could fortunately count on the prodigality of an emperor who was a music lover. Nowadays, it is a participatory financing campaign carried out with enthusiasm that has enabled Aurélien Dumont to write this concerto, which was conceived to be played and conducted by François-Frédéric Guy. A graduate of Ircam, subtle and in love with the unheard of, the composer chose to raise the question of grafting: how does the piano, which is tentacular, blend with the chamber orchestra? Enlightened music lovers and constant renewal: this is how the music progresses.
